# Operational UX | Octacer

> Product UX for integration platforms — dashboards, portals, and workflow software designed as jobs people complete, with clear roles, visible status, and every state the interface must handle.

## Problem

Interfaces look finished but still force operators into spreadsheets and chat: unclear next actions, missing empty/loading/error states, role-blind navigation, and prototypes that never validated the real workflow before build.

## Architecture

Workflow research → role-based interface architecture → high-frequency control screens → prototype validation → developer-ready specs. Design around decisions, handoffs, permissions, and operational states — not decorative page layouts.

## Outcome

MVPs, SaaS platforms, and portals people can use without a manual: decision clarity, error prevention, status visibility, and engineering handoff with fewer open questions.
